A quick reflection upon Q*Ball's “Cool as fuck...!" (the words of Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal) interview indicates what our expectations should entail for 2011:
Ron
- "He'll do whatever he can to keep the Bumblefoot stuff fresh for the fans".
- Possibility he'll "get back on stage as a solo artist". (Hopefully Q*Ball persists with the "bugging".)
- "He's got some new material that he's been working on that will see the light of day in 2011". (What Q*Ball has heard so far is "pretty massive".)
- Possible "Hermit" re-release in 2011.
- "Ron also has some cool cover songs that we're gonna put out, some new merch for the kiddies, and of course, I hope to hear his magic on some of the new music I'm working on as Q*Ball this coming year".
- Ron's Beard world domination.
Q*Ball
- New electro project with former Secret Army bandmate Mike Bandolik called Hooper.
- Intention to get back on stage this year "in some capacity" and "perfect a live show" as Q*Ball.
- Return To Earth is "gonna do some shows over the next few months".
- "A lot more RTE material being written this coming year".
Bald Freak
- "Bald Freak picking up a few new acts next year, too, including modern rock band from NYC called The Head Set".
- Q*Ball: "I hope you enjoy what we have to bring you in the new year, I'm pretty pumped about it
".
2011 looks to be (quite simply) an AWESOME year for Bald Freak Music and its ever loyal fans.
